Orthofeet fisherman shoes combine unique biomechanical features with comfort and chic. Their unique orthotic support, excellent cushioning, extra room and comfort detailing offer relief for heel-pain, arch-pain and forefoot discomfort, and provide excellent protection for diabetic and arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill. Extra-depth design along with supple leather ease pressure on bunions, offering a roomy fit and freedom for toe movement. Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding protects the foot against irritations, making every step you take soothing with comfort. It has a removable Ortho-Step® insole that cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for foot discomfort and heel pain, enhancing comfort and protection. Lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride design enhances stability, and helps propel foot forward.

Fit: This style tends to run a little small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I love this shoe. It's comfortable and nice looking and best of all my brace fits into it easily with plenty of toe room. I can wear it all day. Looks good with jeans and khakis and crop pants. The velcro strap makes it easy to fasten and get on and off. The leather is soft and stylish; the footbed is cushy. I could go on and on. This is my second pair of Orthofeet shoes. My favorite new brand.

I bought this shoe because I have unexplained heel pain that appeared for no apparent reason forcing me to walk with a cane. With these shoes I limp but don't need a cane. The sole is too stiff so far to walk with no limping. I also bought Orthofeet 950 and they are easier to walk in for me. For someone with less pain that I currently have, these would be good shoes to own. They are solid and keep your foot from rolling to the side.

I bought these shoes for my 89 year old mother for Christmas. She has bunions, which makes if difficult to find a comfortable shoe. She says these shoes are very comfortable. They offer good support, non-slip soles, and plenty of room for the bunions. She has worn them every day since Christmas.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size
This is my second pair of Orthofeet shoes. They are so comfy I actually forget I have feet! They are true to size, comfortable and attractive. When others look at my shoes, they say "they are so cute." This is like owning a pair of custom made shoes. Put them on and forget about them all day.
Wears this shoe: I wear these shoes almost everyday. They are casual and comfortable.

I needed a shoe that would be comfortable for work, being on my feet all day I had developed some foot problems so I was looking for a shoe that would help me. I saw these on your site and decided to try them, I was pleased when I first slipped them on and equally as pleased after I wore them for a day. I will be wearing them for 12 hour days this Summer and I am so glad I have them, I will try different styles in the future and I am going to have custom orthotics made for them in a few weeks which may help me even further.
