Comfort for aching feet
By Kathy, from Michigan | October 21, 2013
I ordered these shoes a half size bigger per reviews but was sorry I did. I think my regular size would have fit. I just wear a heavier sock which is fine. I wanted shoes to wear around the house that I could wear with my custom orthotics. I liked the closure for easy on and off. These shoes fit my needs very well. I don't think they are the most stylish, but my husband thought they were less ugly then some of my other orthopedic type shoes.

I bought these shoes because I have problems with my feet due to diabetes. Happy I did, they are very comfortable and now I have a nice looking shoe when I dress up.

comfortable mary jane shoe
By Lane H., from Southern Oregon | January 01, 2013
This is a comfortable shoe for a wide foot. The lining is soft and the strap fits in just the right place (in another brand I tried the strap was too high on the instep). There's plenty of room on the strap to accommodate a high instep. I got this pair (black) after I got the same model in another color (tan).

I love this shoe!
By Donna, from East Tennessee | December 30, 2012
I'm glad I bought this shoe, as per other reviewers, 1/2 size larger than usual. It fits my orthotics and is very comfortable. It is also as stylish as a size 11 X-Wide can be. I haven't worn it enough to see if it holds up well but am hopeful that it will.

Incredibly comfortable
By TerriinMO, from Winfield, MO | August 26, 2012
I just purchased my second pair of these shoes. I have a bunion plus work on my feet all day which can be a painful combination. Not with these shoes! The leather is incredibly soft (good for my bunion) and the insole is supportive but well cushioned (good for standing all day). When my originally purchased shoes finally gave out (after FOUR years) I knew exactly what shoes I wanted to purchase again. I hope they never quit making these. I'm a customer for life!

Very nice shoe, however ...
By Michigan Office Worker, from Michigan | May 16, 2011
I love this shoe because it is comfortable and stylish. The shoe cushions my feet and supports my arches. However, the website suggested ordering the shoe in a 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size. I did and the shoe was way too big! So I exchanged them for my normal size. They are still slightly too big and think I could wear a half size smaller. The strap is way too long for the shoe. I had to take it to a shoe repair and have it shortened. Otherwise, this is a great shoe. I wish Orthofeet would make other, more stylish ortho shoes.
