These unique stretchable shoes are specially designed for those who need extra protection, but do not want to compromise on style. The elastic spandex stretches and conforms to the shape of your feet, easing pressure on bunions and hammer-toes, and offering extra protection for foot deformities, swollen feet, and diabetic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill. Stretchable upper shapes to the contours of the feet, offering a loose fit and maximum protection for sensitive feet. Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel-pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel. Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design, with added depth and width creates space for swollen feet and foot deformities. Strap closure with hook and loop fastener offers adjustability and easy on / off. Spandex and suede leather; polyester lining; EVA insole; EVA midsole, rubber outsole.

Fit: This style tends to run wide. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I own many pair of Orthofeet. This new addition is particularly good for longer walks as the adjustable strap is well-placed to control the fit toward the back of the shoe. At first I was apprehensive about the look of the shoe but the comfort won me over. With the right length pants the strap doesn't even show.
Wears this shoe: Whenever I am headed out for a longer stroll or to work.

Purchased size 9 wide, fit perfectly. Can wear from box no need to wear in. Shoe felt slightly heavy to wear, however I did not have any aches or pains at the end of my busy day.
Wears this shoe: working, walking, casual to evening events.

I liked these shoes from the first moment I saw them and loved them when I put them on. They have been very comfortable and they were the first of all my comfort shoes to be back on my feet after a bunionectomy with hammertoe correction surgery. A couple other pair fit but this is the pair that supports most without pinching or rubbing tender skin. Personally I think they are pretty shoes, rather classy looking for comfort quality shoes.
Wears this shoe: I wear it most at work or for occasions where I need a bit dressier comfort shoe

The shoes are unbelievable comfortable! The moment you put them on you feel like you could walk miles now...The only issue - if you neeed them really wide - like I need for my bunion & bought XW, they come wide 'all over', so the bunion fits comfortably but they are too wide at heel & at top...what does not make them look 'handsome'... But in general, from all the companies & styles I tried for many years only the different styles of Orthofeet proved to be that comfortable!
Wears this shoe: I just got these ones, but I wear my other Ortofeet shoes EVEY DAY!

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased. I have many problems with my feet that result in considerable pain. This shoe style allows me to walk with little to no pain. I'm so pleased with the product, I have just purchased a second pair.
