Product Description (Women's Orthofeet 825)
Orthofeet stretchable shoe is designed for patients, who need extra protection, but do not want to compromise on styling. The shoe's unique design combines Synthetic leather and spandex, a combination which makes the shoe washable.
It stretches to conform to the contours of the foot, accommodating foot deformities, and eliminating pressure on diabetic feet with lesions, poor circulation, and edema.
Constructed on an anatomical last, with extra width across the midfoot and toe-box. It has a 1/2" heel height with extra depth being 3/8".
Two removable spacers in 2mm and 3mm thick are included. It has a cushioning sole, made of light weight EVA midsole and rubber outsole. It has a recessed heel and hidden depth construction.
Fit:
This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

These shoes have provided the relief I needed for a new job where I am on my feet most of the day.The wide width provides comfort. The style feels very secure, but not tight.

For my feet that swell, these shoes fit great and are comfortable. Because of back issues, they are easy to take on and off. This is my second pair.

I've had a broken ankle, a broken foot and two toe surgeries in the last 5 years. My feet are filled with arthritis. I had given up hope of ever walking without a limp again. These are the best shoes I've found. I ended up with the wide size as I still swell from time to time. But, they are true to size.Easy on and off. Not the most stylish shoe but they look fine with jeans. And most importantly, I'm able to walk normally when wearing these shoes. I'm so happy with the comfort, that I would wear these shoes regardless of how they look!

The shoes are extremely comfortable and cradle my feet. They also give me good support. The drawback is that they are a little hot on my feet, dont have the best ventilation. Comes with an orthotic inside, but has room for your own custom made orthotic.

Good for comfort, not looks

I bought these as everyday shoes, for walking etc. and have been using them for 10 months. They are certainly comfortable, even with my orthotics. However they haven't lasted as well as I had hoped--the glue is coming unstuck where the upper meets the sole around the front of the shoes. This might be because they got wet a couple of times; as a walker I need a shoe that can handle a little bit of water. These shoes soak water up and it goes straight through, making my foot feel very wet. On the upside, once I take them off, the synthetic material dries very quickly.They are also a bit hot in the summer.I would recommend them to someone who finds it impossible to find comfortable shoes because they excel at not rubbing, stretching to fit the foot etc. But for looks and durability I would try another shoe.
