I am diabetic and two months ago I fracture one of my toes, I needed comfortable shoes and I decide to look for them on the internet. It was easy and I am happy with them. They are expensive but doesn't matter because I fell OK. I work 8 hours and most of the time I am standing, they feel perfect, and I am very happy with them.

I finally found shoes comfortable enough to accomodate my foot problems: hammer toes and bunions. But I think they would feel a bit better if the removable insole had a little more cushion towards the front for the ball of the foot. On the whole, these are the best that allow me to walk around with the least amount of foot pain for a longer period of time.

These shoes felt great as soon as I put them on. I had read other reviews prior to placing my order, and took the advice to order a 1/2 size larger. I had to reorder in my actual size. I think if your foot is not really wide, you should just order what you normally wear. I received my size today and they feel great. I have great difficulty in breaking in shoes, but I think I can wear these for a full day of work tomorrow. I put these on after a 10 hour day on my feet and they were comfortable immediately. I will check into other Orthofeet styles. They don't look orthopedic like shoes used to. Comfort from the get go!
Wears this shoe: To work 5-6 days a week 8-10 hours per day.

I followed your advice and ordered 1/2 size larger. They are a good fit. The toe box could be a little wider. I especially like the bar on the closure, it makes it easy to get a snug fit.
