Orthofeet crafts these unique shoes with advanced athletic shoes technology, offering anatomical orthotic support, excellent cushioning, extra room and comfort detailing. They offer relief for heel-pain, arch-pain, and forefoot discomfort, and provide extra protection for diabetic or arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill.
Soft leather offers a comfortable non-binding fit, easing pressure on bunion and hammer toes.
Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel.
Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design, with added depth and a wide toe box, insures a relaxed fit and freedom for toe movement.
Two sets of removable spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) allow the adjustment of the space inside the shoe for a perfect fit. It has a leather upper, polyester upper lining. EVA insole covered with leather and polyurethane sole.
Fit:
This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

Bought this shoe for a couple of people who always have trouble finding a comfortable shoe. They both were very satisfied and asked that a second pair be ordered for each of them. They have troubled feet with arthritist and bent toes and wide widths, but these shoes have been very good for comfort. They would recommend them for others with troubled feet.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I have purchased 3 different pair of this brand of shoe. They are awesome! Very comfortable! I work in retail so I am on my feet 8 hours a day.

Until I found this website I have had to settle for some of the ugliest shoes in the world so I could have shoes that I could get on my weird feet. But these shoes , not only fit me but are really rather nice looking. They make my 4 1/2 EEEE feet look normal! its a miracle!! I bought a size 6 in the widest they had. I wanted the extra length to help my foot look balanced. And to top it all off they were very affordable! I have had to spend more than 200 dollars on most of the shoes I have had in my adult life. And even at 200 dollars they were uncomfortable and ugly. Well no more!! Im buying all my shoes from here from now on!

These shoes are lightweight and fairly comfortable. The laces don't stay tied too well, though, because the material is slippery.I'm not sure whether they are worth the price, but then, I don't think that ANY shoe should cost over $100!
