Orthofeet crafts these unique shoes with advanced athletic shoes technology, offering anatomical orthotic support, excellent cushioning, extra room and comfort detailing. They offer relief for heel-pain, arch-pain, and forefoot discomfort, and provide extra protection for diabetic or arthritic feet. Approved by Medicare to meet the requirements of the Diabetic Shoe Bill. Soft leather offers a comfortable non-binding fit, easing pressure on bunion and hammer toes. Ortho-Step® multi-layer insole cradles the foot, providing customized support along with excellent shock absorption. It offers relief for heel pain and foot discomfort, making every step you take extremely comfortable. Wide, lightweight cushioning sole with Ergonomic-Stride construction enhances comfort and stability, and assists your body to propel. Soft fabric lining with extra foam padding enhances comfort and protects the foot against irritations. Anatomical design, with added depth and a wide toe box, insures a relaxed fit and freedom for toe movement. Two sets of removable spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) allow the adjustment of the space inside the shoe for a perfect fit. It has a leather upper, polyester upper lining. EVA insole covered with leather and polyurethane sole.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

Shoes felt great as soon as you put your feet in them. I work long hours as well as walk a lot and my feet don't hurt wearing these shoes.

This shoe is an excellent option for an orthotic. Its look is a bit more stylish than other shoes of this nature. I wear an orthotic that has a substantial arch and metatarsal support, adding almost a half inch to the foot bed of a shoe. This shoe comes with three insoles of varying thicknesses to help obtain a perfect fit. I use the thinnest of the insoles with my orthotic. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. Upon first wearing the shoes I had a bit of heel slippage; however it was not sufficient to cause me to not keep them. After a very short break in period, the slippage is no longer an issue at all. The depth and width of the toe box keeps my toes from feeling cramped. I recommend this shoe for its overall comfort and adjustable fit options with the provided insoles.

I really do not like the shoe. Because of the sizing difference it has rubbed blisters on my feet. The only way you could make an exchange was for the shoes not to have been worn. I have to wear them to check for comfort feel and size. I am very unhappy with this shoe and its highly unlikely that I make another purchase of this kind unless they can be worn to check for necessary adjustments. I have plantar facsitis and it is hard to get a comfortable shoe. I lost a lot of money on this deal.
