To be honest, these shoes are very comfortable. I bought this velcro close pair, because the lace pair had a problem with the top plastic eyes breaking. Though the velcro solves that problem, the straps are way too long. I ordered an EE width, which I need, but I would really like the straps to be about an inch shorter.Good comfortable shoe...whether laced or velcro. Just needs a few kinks to be worked out.

I am diabetic and have trouble finding a comfortable shoe that I can put my orthodics in and still be comfortable walking. I can walk all day with these shoes and have no aching or numbness in my feet. Just a very comfortable shoe.

I am a larger man and have a problem with edema in my legs and feet. This shoe with the velcro straps makes it easy for me to adjust the fit of the shoe from the toe up to the top at different widths. There was not "break in a new shoe" stiffness, either. This shoe felt great the first time I wore it. I would recommend this shoe and I would buy it again.

I need good support for my feet as I have health issues with walking. I also need something that is easy to get on and off - the velcro closures vs. shoestrings. The shoes are lightweight and comfortable. The quality is excellent.
