I wear size 6.5 shoe which is pretty common. All socks that I ever see say fit sizes 9-11. While the socks do fit, after wearing for a short time, the heel of the sock rides up, or usually, when I put on my shoe, the heel rides up. These socks come in size small so I gave the small a try. I love them. They do not ride up in the heel. They stay put when I put on shoes. Wish more socks came in smaller sizes.
