| | About Cuban Heel: |
|---|
| | | A Cuban Heel is a broad heel that is angled at the back, straight in the front, and tapers to a slightly narrower base. A Cuban heel is of moderate height and the base is fairly broad. Cuban heels are found on many styles of men's and women's shoes including boots, sandals, and pumps. A famous example of Cuban heels is the style of chelsea boots worn by the Beatles in the 60's. Cuban heels are sometimes referred to as Latin heels, as well. |

Comfortable, yet attractive shoe.

I have been a fan of this shoe for years. I have a wide foot with bunions and this is the most comfortable shoe I own. I could wear it all day and it is as comfortable as my running shoes. It is also very stylish and holds up well. It goes with pants, suits and dresses.

Little Things Mean a Lot

I'm switching my shoe wardrobe over to low-heeled shoes for a number of reasons. I was looking for an attractive pair in white and saw these. Even though I looked at the shoes from all angles shown in the picture, I did not see the tiny 'V' in the vamp. It is stitched on both sides and detracts from the clean look of the shoes. I doubt anyone is going to notice or comment, so I'm not sending them back, but I doubt I would have bought them in the first place had I noticed this little detail.
