The boots are very nice. I am very picky about my feet so I have tried on lots of boots. These are very comfortable, and light weight. 800 grams is perfect for all year round use. Only drawback I've seen is the eyelets at the top are starting to fray the laces. Not a big deal. Seem to be very waterproof so far. I highly reccomend these boots. If 800 grams is not enough or too much, just get a different insulation size, the fit is still the same.

I've been pretty much a Wolverine boot wearer since trying them 15 years ago. I have four pair and one pair of Converse duty boots that wear well and decided to try out Danner. So far these boots feel great and definitely have a quality that is apparent when inspecting the materials and craftsmanship. Since there's no side zipper, one thing they really need are speed laces. The aglets really take a beating as they aren't designed to become a daily part of the on/off process. That's my only complaint so far which isn't much of a complaint.

I haven't done a ton of walking and hiking around in them but these boots are not to stiff like other reviews have said and they look really great too!! I'm not disappointed with them at all so far! Luckily I haven't had to test out the boots with a snake yet but I have encountered a few wearing them so at least I feel comfort not having to worry about being bit while wearing these.

I love the boots. I bought them for work and I found them to be very comfortable. They feel like I am wearing tennis shoes instead of boots. I searched numerous sites and could not find a better price.
