I bought these for my daughter who just graduated college and started a new career. I always thought NurseMates were a quality shoe - not these! The sole of the shoe, from the toe to the arch, came completely off the shoe within 4 weeks of wear. The sole of the shoe and the body of the shoes still look new - so you can tell they were not abused - they simply fell apart.Poor quality = Don't buy them!

Very uncomfortable. Toes felt sore as did bottoms of my feet after 2 twelve hour shifts. I'm already looking for a new pair.

This is an attractive shoe that can pass for a sneaker or an athletic shoe. The lace-less feature works well, although it's not a hands-free slip-on.Before I bought this shoe, I was a little puzzled by the reviews. A number of reviewers said that it ran narrow, while others complained about heel slippage. How can one shoe be both narrow and wide? Well, this one is. It runs a little bit narrow through the ball of the foot, but it's somewhat wide in the heel.Now that I've put in a pair of drugstore heel liners, and I've figured out which socks worked best with this shoe, it's quite comfortable for walking and standing.

I bought it because of the amount of walking involved in the healthcare field. I am pleased with the shoes and their comfort and performance. Since they are slip on though, my worry is that they may loose shape or get loose because of lots of walking and wear.
