These are a great looking shoe, nice polish, classic style wing tip design. The anti-slip rubber insert on the sole is a nice feature. While I generally stick with a full leather sole, this style leans a bit more to the "casual dress" so I don't feel the rubber tap really detracts from it's intended niche. One concern is the outside vamp around the ankle area which is cut a bit high and can tend to put pressure on the underside of the ankle bone. I was a bit concerned about this issue (very uncomfortable pressure) but the stiffness in this area will subside... after a bit of "break in time" is endured, if you give them a chance they become quite comfortable.
