I bought this shoe for a gentleman in his 50's who wears traditional-type shoes. But I knew the shoe I wanted needed good "tired soles" for slip-resistance and had to be comfortable. He was currently wearing a size 12W, even though he claimed his size was 11M.So I ordered the 12W and they fit perfectly and he is so happy with them! They are not as heavy as the last pair of shoes he bought. I hope they keep this model forever.

Bought these for my 11 year-old son to wear to a wedding and then they will become school shoes this winter. He has only had about two other pairs of leather shoes in his life and I think he only wore each of them one time. Dress shoes that feel like athletic shoes is what he requested and I think these fill the order!The only negative is that he thinks the bottoms are too slippery and has slipped twice coming down the carpeted stairs at our home. I think he misses his track shoes.
