Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthSearching for an athletic type sandal, I found the Earth Exer-Strap shoe. I put it on when it arrived and wore it the rest of the day. It was very comfortable; the footbed is soft but firm. My only concern is the strap at the front end, which velcroed tightly with a long strap left over.
Wears this shoe: My feet feel good all day while teaching and doing recess duty.

You can feel the lowered heel but I didn't have to "break" them in. Just felt comfortable out of the box. And the foot bed is soft and spongy feeling. I really like them.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI've been wearing Earth shoes for quite a while and love them. The Exer-Strap sandals are very comfortable. The best part is they don't squeak like a lot of soft soled shoes. The only thing I don't like is the rubber against my bare feet, I would prefer to pay more for suede. However, the bumps in the insole are kind of massaging.
Wears this shoe: Work, shopping, at home, basically all the time.

I can't believe how bad they smell June 28, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI bought it for a good walking shoe while on vacation in NYC. It looked like it had good arch support and it really does. I ordered several other shoes of this type, one less expensive and two more expensive and none of them had arch support. At first it feels odd with the lower heel but it is actually good for my back, makes my pelvis tuck in more which for my body is good. I don't know about the claims of burning more calories but because it is comfortable I can walk longer so perhaps that will cause me to burn more calories. All the scientific research claims seem like a stretch but it is a comfortable summer walking sandal. I find I need to stretch flex my toes in my right foot because there is a support under the toes that causes tension, but I like the shoe. Decent value. I will see how it holds up walking in NYC next week. My only complaint is the sole causes my foot to sweat and after a long day my feet need to be washed.

The Exer-Straps are nice looking and feel even better than they look! I'm picky about shoes and would normally never order without trying them on, but felt OK with ShoeBuy's easy return policy. No way I would send them back!

I received them around a month ago and tried them on, and they felt great on my feet, but the ankle strap is very small. My ankles are a normal size, but there's no room for the Velcro to really attach on (only about 1/2 - 1 inch). I hope you have really skinny ankles. They also have a bad rubbery smell.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI bought these shoes to have the benefits of the negative heel technology while wearing shoes fit for the heat of summer. My first choice was the Exer-Trek because I was looking to replace my Keens, but found a 9 too small and a 9.5 too large. The Exer-Strap model fits well in a size 10 (even sizes only). They are very comfortable. My only complaint is I wish they had some kind of lining/covering on the insole as what they do have makes my feet sweat some. However, that characteristic isn't enough to put me off these shoes--they are comfortable and cool. I have the Almond Grained K-Calf. They're not very dressy, but they look good with jeans and shorts, and I can wear them with a long broomstick skirt without feeling "under-dressed". Of course, the great Earth negative heel technology leaves my back feeling great even after a day of standing, walking, or working. The velcro closures make it easy to get in and out of the shoes with more choices of "snuggness" than buckles provide.

I thought about buying these for a couple of days. When I didn't see anything I liked better, I ordered them! I'm sooo glad I did - They are just wonderful!
