I bought these for my sister who had serious hand surgery and would be in a cast for at least 6 weeks. She always wears the 926 show with the laces but of course could not lace them up. She loves them with velcro and they fit as well as if not better than the ones with the laces. These shoes saved her life because now she can go walking and not have to worry about clogs or sandals.

I have diabetic neuropathy and have recently had a total knee replacement. This shoe has made walking more comfortable and gives me total support. My podiatrist also said it is a great sneaker and should last me a long time.

This Easy Spirit 926 was a surprise. It has lots of toe room which is very nice. It has long velcro strip fasteners, which is very important for someone like me with a high instep. Also, they can be adjusted for better fit when swelling is up or down. They are really and great for walking.

This is one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever owned. I just had knee surgery in January. My doctor corrected my bowed foot during the surgery. I had walked that way for years. I bought these shoes after visiting a New Balance store and talking with the sales reps. They are worth every penny you pay for them. I no longer hurt when I walk. I still wake up every morning knowing I have metal in my knee, but it does not hurt.
