Problem Feet

I have been having a lot of foot pain and was advised by a shoe salesman that this would be a good shoe. My doctor confirmed this and along with an orthotic (which fits in the shoe well) it has helped my foot pain. This is a great shoe.

Took awhile to get the right size

Shoe Size: Felt full size smaller than marked
Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
It took me 4 attempts to get the right fit with this shoe, but I was diligent simply because it's the shoe my podiatrist recommended. Perhaps I should have realized that a different shoe would provide a better fit for my troubled foot, but I'm sticking with this for now. The first reviews I read recommended ordering a half size smaller (newer reviews recommend true-to-size). I returned and reordered in half-size increments until I settled on a shoe a full size bigger than normal. However, I'm fitting a foot with post-surgical complications, including a bunion and accommodating orthotics that do not easily fit into a shoe. Despite my sizing problems, I heartily recommend this shoe -- extremely comfortable and definitely a "fix-it" shoe for problem feet...even if only temporarily.
