Overall I like them!
By Asha, from Atlanta, Georgia | April 10, 2012
I really like the look and feel of the shoe and it is generally comfortable. Be sure to get them a half size bigger. I got my regular size and when I first started wearing them they were fairly snug. I will say that after a bit of breaking in, I don't notice them being tight or uncomfortable anymore, which makes me think they can be manipulated if you're a patient person. The tread on the bottom is excellent, but I kick box and need a shoe with less tread so I can pivot. These are not the shoes for that. If you're walking around town, jogging, running errands, or working I highly recommend these shoes! Either make sure to get them a half size bigger or take the time to break them in.

Just what I wanted
By Mermaid, from WV | November 08, 2011
New Balance is the brand that I buy most often, I like the quality. These are long lasting shoes. I like the weight of these, for a trail shoe they are nice and light. I need a bigger toebox and New Balance always has this. I got a half a size bigger as suggested by other reviewers, and this works fine. I have flat feet, and I am a plus size woman, so it is often hard to fine sneakers that don't wear down fast due to weight. This is my tenth pair of NB, I love them.

Comfortable, Lightweight, versatile Shoes! Love them!
By vb4fun, from Maryland | July 28, 2011
I have tried different brands, had one pair of New Balance that was most comfortable and lasted! This pair of New Balance did not disappoint. I am done trying other brand and will stick with New Balance from now on! These are VERY comfortable, light weight, and the shoe tread is very versatile and seems sturdy! I wore these hiking on our last vacation with no break in period. I picked the tread pattern for traction for playing on grass and hiking outdoor. But these were so comfortable and cute, I tried wearing them to play volleyball indoor and had good traction! So happy with them. One important thing though for online buyers! These run 1/2 size SMALL from my experience too! I saw many reviews (including other sites when I was researching these shoes) that these comes small and they DO for me! 1/2 size. I tried on 2 different style of size 7 new balance and this style IS smaller (like they are 6.5), while the other style New Balance trail running shoes was true to size. So I bought a 7.5 instead. (May want buy both sizes and then decide which one fit right.)

Very Comfy
By Dana, from Alaska | May 18, 2011
This is a very comfortable shoe. I have problems with my feet and it is difficult to get shoes that don't aggravate the problems, but this shoe is wide in the toe box and has plenty of cushioning. There was no break-in period - I wore it most of the day going up and down hills around our cabin and my feet felt great!

I wore these brand new to run a 5K race. I had absolutely no pain and they did not have to be broken in. The sole is very supportive and thick.
