I have found that New Balance shoes are the only brand I can wear. I have a large narrow foot, and when I order 2N I have to put an insert in most of the shoes to make them fit better - I think the reason I can wear these shoes is that the large soles on the shoes stabilize my feet. I can take my New Balance shoes out of the box and put them on and wear them all day with no breaking in.

I am very pleased with my 993's. They do seem just a slight bit bigger than they would need to be for the size, but not enough to return for something smaller. They really feel like they needed no breaking in. I'm happy with them.

I love this shoe! I wear custom-made orthotic inserts and this shoe accommodates them very well. I really like the appearance of the shoes, too, and I have received many nice compliments on them. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I highly recommend the Women's New Balance WR 993 to anyone!

I like the fact that New Balance was made in the USA and that for over twenty years, this brand has been helping me get my miles in for exercise. Never a problem with blisters or cushioning and certainly enough to pad my old plantar fasciitis which flares up once in a while. I am brand loyal and I like this particular model and color very much. The laces are plenty long enough for double knotting, too.
