The 892 is an innovative cushioned shoe that combines a fast, clean upper design with ABZORB® EX technology in the heel for a dynamic running experience.
ABZORB® EX in heel combines New Balance's premium Abzorb foam and a peripheral pocket of non-pressurized air that is encapsulated in an engineered thermoplastic. ABZORB® in forefoot is NB's top of the line foam material with excellent cushioning and compression set properties. A blend of DuPont™ Engage®, Isoprene rubber and proprietary materials provides the ultimate ride.
BIOCOOL® is design-engineered mesh offering seamless comfort and temperature control. C-CAP® in midsole provides standard midsole compression molded EVA for cushioning and flexibility.
Ndurance® in outsole is rubber compound for maximum durability in high-wear areas. Blown rubber forefoot outsole gives lightweight and cushioned ride.
