Bought shoe because my orthotic advisor said it was one of the best shoe for my foot. I have flat feed and also need to wear a brace on one of my feet. I love the fit and wear of the shoe.

In training for this year's Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, I needed a running shoe with arch support.#883 IS IT! They really feel like nothing is on your feet...just today i did a 12 mile training walk,then worked in the yard for 3 hours...wonderful support, comfortable, and the fact that they're made in the USA is the icing on the cake!
Wears this shoe: Training for Avon Walk, road trips, anytime there's lots of walking to do.

This is an attractive shoe and has a great color. I would say it is a bit wide compared with other styles I've purchased and that is why I gave it four stars instead of five. However, it is comfortable and lightweight. Overall a good shoe.

I have worn new balance for the past three years. The N B 883 was purchased because the style I currently was wearing was no longer available. This new style is a different color but is even more comfortable than the other style. It was especially convenient not going to the store.

I like this shoe because of the arch support (it could be a bit higher) and the stability. I am always on my feet and am a neutral walker.
