I brought this shoe to replace my old 970's which were also built for over-pronators. When I put them on, it was like slipping my narrow arch-less feet into cradles. Not having to mess with orthotics or other aides, priceless! The New Balance WR817's fit better than my others.

I use this sneaker for cardio and strength/circuit training and love them. This sneaker delivers all-around comfort. No pinching, constricting, or pain. A lot of support in the ball of the foot and the heel. Ankle feels secure and comfortable, not wobbly or mobile. Great sneaker for people who want an all-around comfortable sneaker that stands up to all sorts of physical fitness.

Disappointed

Never had NB shoes that I didn't like before these. They were much shorter than the usual size 9. Also, the extra wide size did not seem extra wide. Material seemed cheap, as well.
Wears this shoe: I would have worn it for anything.
