| | About Cushioned: |
|---|
| | | Cushioned shoes, or neutral cushioning shoes, are shoes designed for runners with normal to high arches who tend to underpronate. Cushioning shoes generally have a padded midsole with layers of extra cushioning in the heel and forefoot that provide better energy return to the body when compressed while helping absorb heel shock and encouraging a more natural foot motion. |

New Balance W1080v2
New Balance running shoe
September 29, 2012
Reviewer: Nancy from Menlo Park, CA
Bought these to replace an old pair of mid priced New Balance running shoes. Ordered a half size up and in wide to accommodate a bunion and callus. Fit is good and shoe is lightweight and comfortable but I was expecting more cushioning. Many years ago I had a pair of New Balance shoes that had a lot more cushioning, was hoping for the same. These don't feel that different from my old mid priced shoes.
