A Nice Shoe But...

I bought this shoe hoping it would fit as nicely as my other New Balance shoes. I love the color and the material. The shoe is comfortable except that it seems a little narrower in the toe than most wide widths, especially on my left foot. If a shoe is just a little tight, it causes my toe to hurt, and this shoe is just a little tight. It started out feeling very good, but after about a week my toe started to hurt. I hope it will work out. Other than that, they have great support and are very comfortable.

I bought this shoe in size 8W as a multi-sport/walking shoe as an alternative to my white cross trainers. I'm a huge fan of the colors - yellow/brown/grey as it makes the shoe sporty and gives it more character. I have a high arch and on initial fitting I found that this shoe offers really good arch support, however, I'm able to add my small orthotic to it as well if I wanted some extra lift. The footbed is super sturdy and overall I would say this is a good quality shoe. The only thing that I haven't figured out yet is if the toebox is a bit on the short side. After a few more days of testing it out around my house I'll determine if I need an 8.5W instead.
