I bought these sight unseen because I loved loved loved my prior New Balance tennis shoes. These felt a little tight, despite the "D" width. But they seem to be breaking in nicely. The only thing I don't like about them is that they have one eyelet too many, thus making the 2nd to closest eyelet (furthest from the toe)a little off where it should be. When threaded thru the very last eyelet, the laces feel like they reaching too far towards my ankle. So I leave the last eyelet unlaced, but then it feels slightly under-secured. I would rather have had less eyelets and a better location for the last one).

Wear only New Balance tennis shoes, but getting harder & harder to find a style I like in 2A (narrow). Pleasantly surprised to find 656 in my size & narrow. I still need my orthodics & a left foot heel lift, but everything felt comfortable. Plus this style is very light weight, which I have not had before.
Wears this shoe: Good for days of lengthy shopping.

So far this shoe is quite good for tennis. I have bunions and the wide width is accommodating. I have only worn them twice so far, but they seem to be wearing well.

This is a very comfortable walking shoe. I have a wide foot and it is very true to fit - does not pinch at any point. I would order this shoe again!!!
