A heritage shoe featuring ABZORB® cushioning and ENCAP® built for the mild to moderate overpronator who requires a combination of cushioning and enhanced stability. ABZORB® heel and forefoot provides maximum shock absorption. ENCAP® midsole in heel polyurethane rim with C-CAP® core provides cushioning and support. C-CAP® midsole lightweight compression molded EVA provides cushioning and flexibility. Blown rubber outsole provides a lightweight cushioned ride. Synthetic/Mesh upper provides lightweight comfort and support.

It was recommended I try a women's narrow, in length 1.5 sizes longer than my normal men's size because of my very narrow to length foot. This shoe was perfect right out of the box, and is exceptionally light compared to men's sizes. Will buy this shoe again and certainly try the women's sizes when available.

Extremely comfortable!!! My job requires walking all day, and these shoes are just what I needed. they have just the right amount of support and cushioning to last all day. Great shoe!!

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
I love my NB 991's. They are very supportive, even without my orthotics and are very well cushioned. I have difficult feet to satisfy since I have bunions near each little toe. These shoes are stretchy on the side and do allow my toes to be comfortable. They are cute to look at but my most shining approval is that they are so well cushioned, like walking on a cloud.
Wears this shoe: I wear it almost everywhere.
