I bought this shoe for general exercise and walking but think it would be great for trail running, which is what it is meant for, as it feels very stable, yet comfortable. New Balance tends to run wide and I take a narrow so I was glad to see that this came in the narrow width but even that was a bit wide for me, but since this shoe has such good support I think it will be fine.

I work at a hospital and am on my feet 12 hours. I could tell a big difference the first day I wore the shoes. Now my feet don't hurt like they used to. I have had lots of compliments on their looks, too. The mesh breathes easy and my feet don't feel as hot and sweaty.

I've worn New Balance running shoes for 20 years, mostly due to the fact that they typically run wider than standard sneakers. The pair I bought were smaller than a size 9, despite the fact that previous reviewers claimed this shoe was true to size. No problem returning them for a larger size, and I'm happy as always with my New Balance choice.
