Graphite Rollbar is a biomechanically positioned piece of graphite in the midsole which maximizes rearfoot stability. It is combined with a medial and lateral post for motion control during the gait cycle.
Single density polyurethane outsole and midsole provides lightweight cushioning and resists compression set.

A good walking shoe. There was not "break-in" period which means they fit good. I usually buy New Balance athletic shoes and this shoe met my expectations. It's a good shoe for the price and made in the USA.

I purchased this shoe for work. I normally have a terrible time finding good shoes. I injured my right leg and ankle 2 years ago and could not find much of anything that was supportive and comfortable. I am in sales and do a lot of walking and I work at trade shows.I tried these shoes on and thought they were comfortable right away. I walked around the house quite a bit with them and decided that I was definitely going to keep them. I wore them today to a trade show where I was on my feet on cement for 10 hours. The shoes worked out great! I love them thus far. I am going to continue to wear this pair and if I still feel the same way about them in another month I plan to buy another pair.

This shoe is very uncomfortable if you have to stand in one place for any length of time. They wore down very quickly. After two weeks they looked like I had them for months. I was very disappointedwith these shoes. I've gotten the 811's and I thought they would be as good but they are not. I would not recommend them to any one.
