It's a good shoe for biking with toe straps as it doesn't have a thick sole but is stiff enough for support.

I have owned at least 10 pairs of NB shoes and every one has been a 12D. So naturally I bought the usual size but when this one showed up they were small. Sent them back and had to get a 13D. It's a nice shoe and I like it but they do run small.
