I walk four miles a day and found the MX 608 to be perfect for this activity. It combines great arch support with a good heel counter and seems to be standing up well. Thanks to New Balance for producing different widths. True to size.

I have always bought MX608 in white and was glad to see it in brown. The 608 is hard to find in retail stores, and if so I could never find my size. I like to wear the brown 608 in the fall and winter, and the white for the spring and summer; kind of like don't wear white after Labor Day! Great shoe for all around wear and very comfortable, requires no break in.

This shoe is about 1/2 size smaller than normal shoe size. I bought 1 full size larger than normal and found it was a little too big. Nice ankle support, nice arch, and nice materials. Good shoe!
