New Balance 608 width has changed

New Balance must have changed suppliers for their 608 shoes, and the width is not the same. I've been buying a pair of these every year for at least 5 years in size 12EE or 12EEEE. This is the first pair that feels too narrow out of all those. I still have 2 old pairs that I use for dirty activities that I can compare to, and the new pair are definitely made differently. Otherwise, the shoes are well-constructed, and comparable to other brands at this price level.

This is a very comfortable shoe, I use them for work and I'm on my feet 10 to 12 hrs a day. This is a very good shoe.

New Balance is a great shoe for people who have foot problems. They are always recommended by orthopedic doctors and surgeons - especially the cross trainers. The MX608 has been around for years for a reason. For a very comfortable, supportive shoe that looks great, this is the one.
