Bought for my husband. Great for rough roads with the "rock stop". Gore-tex keeps the feet dry. New Balance has the hard to find, extra wide shoes.

I bought this shoe to replace a pair of New Balance 642's which I wore out. They fit right out of the box with no need for break in. I use the the shoes for general purpose activities. I explore the desert by Jeep and often exit the the Jeep on a steep grade to explore. The 955's have good traction on difficult terrain. Haven't found anything that I don't like.
