This motion control walking shoe is for walkers who require maximum control and superior comfort features. Features a leather upper, maximum shock absorption, a compression molded EVA sole for cushioning and flexibility and a stabilizing outsole that supports the foot through the walking gait cycle. Includes ABZORB® cushioning in both the heel and forefoot for exceptional shock absorption and Lightning Dry® fabric that keeps you dry and comfortable by managing moisture transfer.

Fit: This style tends to run narrow. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

Because I have particularly large feet especially with my orthodics, I have trouble finding shoes that fit. In all my searching, the only shoe that I have been able to find to fit me is this shoe in this particular size and width. I had been able to get these shoes in a local specialty store, but this shoe was discontinued. I do not know how Shoebuy.com managed to have them in stock, but I am very grateful that they did. Now if the shoe makers would only make women's' dress shoes to fit me, I would be in business!

The shoes are as designed. I bought the shoes as replacement for the exact pair I bought earlier as a replacement.
