I've spent loads of money experimenting different shoes/boots for my feet, none, until these New Balances have given me the relief I was looking for. I've got many issues with my feet to include flat,low arches, bunions, plantar fasciitis you name it. And to top if off I've had two knee replacements. I work on concrete floors and at the end of the day my feet were on fire and it was difficult to walk. The 926 walking shoes have given me new hope. They have a very stable platform and give great lateral and arch support. I use a custom heat moldable insole (Sole) and my feet no longer feel like they're on fire at the end of the day. They are kind of spendy, but I have spent more on shoes/boots and ended up not wearing them in the long run.

I bought this shoe because I own several pairs and like them so much. I have major foot problems and manage to walk most every day for an hour and 20 minutes. In this shoe you do not even feel your feet strike the ground. They are so comfortable that not only do I wear them for a walk, but wear them all day. Best investment you could ever make. Try some wool hiking socks with them. Your feet will love you for it.

Have used these shoes for 5 years. Love them. This time I bought 3 pair in case they discontinue them. And by the ways the toe box holds to together better than they use to.

I bought both the rockport wtc and this NB to alternate wearing days - as comfortable as the rockport is, I must say that the NB 926 feels several notches more comfortable than the rockport - I do like both shoes a lot but the edge goes to the NB at this point - after 6 months I will review again and see which shoe wears better after the 6 month test!! I am diabetic so shoe comfort is VERY important to me.
