Fit: This style tends to run narrow. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I prefer a roomy toebox and stability on each step. This model accomplishes that in a good looking sneaker that looks more like a shoe. This product will easily accommodate a replacement footbed or orthotic.

NBs are different these days January 14, 2013

Others have mentioned my concern. I've had NB before and at least one other athletic shoe of this brand has been 1/2 size too short. Odd because you want to invest in American-made products. As is, I can't get an exchange for the larger size because they don't carry it in the same color. So, I'm out on these counts---narrow width tennis shoes are not easy to find.
Wears this shoe: I wear such shoes daily, but not on hikes.

Excellent replacement shoe January 01, 2013

I bought this shoe, MW812, as a replacement for an older design, MW427, that I had worn out.I was able to transfer my arch support insert into my new shoe as the sizing was very accurate. Also, the space in the toe area was larger which is a plus for me.I'm a satisfied repeat customer of New Balance footwear.
