I've been looking all over for these shoes but no one ever seems to have the ever so popular size 8.5D in stock. I've always been a fan of NB since they run a little wider and plus the fact that the quality of their shoes is better than Nike.

Shoe is very light, but sturdy enough for light trail hiking. The laces are not those slick round ones that never stay tied that most companies are now using. I walk about four miles a day and these shoes work very well on both asphalt track and on forest trails. Price is very competitive with other brands and quality is good.

I bought this shoe for my husband last month. It is to replace the previous model (MT811) which he has had 2 pairs over the past 2 years. He seems to really like this shoe style, a cross-trainer with all-terrain capability. He hasn't commented negatively this version yet, so I'm guessing that it is at least as good as the MT811.
