The 101 is an extremely lightweight trail racer that combines elements of natural running technology with a minimal design for unsurpassed comfort and responsiveness on the trails. The ACTEVA® midsole is 12 percent lighter than standard midsole foam with DuPont™ Engage® for exceptional durability. Upper: Synthetic/mesh. The Sure Lace™ is a computer knit lace/chord designed with a reciprocating wave pattern that will not untie under high performance or inclement conditions. Also features the Rock Stop® flexible protects feet from rocks and shock, minimizing pressure, and dispersing shock energy.

I was looking for a light, flat-soled runner for Crossfit. The MT101s fit the bill! I bought the black version and liked them so much I decided later to get the green pair. Great off and on trail. Perfect for squats, cleans, presses, and transitioning to a run. Comfortable with or without (thin)socks and to just wear around casually. The green version has an iridescent quality to it and look best in sunlight. Definitely recommended.

I was looking for the lightest hiking shoes and these fit the bill. I hiked 25 miles of the AT in them, it rained the whole time but these shoes remained comfortable. Perhaps not as much tread on the bottom as I would have liked, and I am worried about longevity, but it feels as close to barefooting as I'd like to be. Rock plate def helped take the sting off hard steps on sharp things. Also did a few trail runs and loved them there too.

This shoe fits my foot fairly well. My pinky toes do get a little irritated so I'm still wearing socks to break them in. I haven't had a chance to run in them yet but I've worn them for 6 hours straight (mostly standing) and they felt comfortable.If you have a wide foot, these are a good choice.
Wears this shoe: When I cant wear sandals.
