| | About Moderate Overpronation: |
|---|
| | | Although pronation is a normal, natural rolling motion of the foot that helps reduce shock, moderate overpronation occurs when the ankle rolls inward towards the center of the vertical line of the lower leg forcing the heel to lean slightly inward. In moderate pronation the foot pronates, but not excessively. This means the forefoot pushes off evenly at the end of the gait cycle with moderate pronation. |

New Balance M587
quality of sole
September 18, 2012
Reviewer: jjonrunner from ellington
I had previously ran in 580's- could not buy them any more. I am 200lb runner an bought pair of 587's on 09-3-12- On a run yesterday the rubber sole on heel came off shoe. I contacted New Balance and they are sending me another pair. I am blown away by poor quality of this shoe. I am glad it did not happen in the half marathon in 3wks. Will try out other brands after race. I would have expected more from for a shoe made for a heavier runner!
