I have been buying NB shoes for years because they offer widths which others do not, however the MB690 does not live up to what I am used to. This may be an isolated incident, but the width at the toe is not there. Maybe they'll stretch.

These shoes have been comfortable from the moment I put them on til now. I haven't liked a pair of shoes this much since the last pair of New Balances I bought.

I coached for thirty years and wore all different kinds of coaching shoes over that time. These MB690's are as good as any I have ever worn, and better than most. I am retired now from coaching/teaching, but recently went to work as a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor and I am on my feet all day and needed a good shoe to wear for long periods of time. My feet have gotten wider as I have aged, so I like the fact that New Balance offers a variety of widths and so I decide to try the MB690's as a work shoe. I like it very much, as do my feet. The extra width really has made my feet feel better and it is such a good looking show that I gets lots of compliments on them. I have only been wearing them a couple of weeks, but they seem to be holding up well and I like them very much. I also like the service and price I got from ShoeBuy.com and will be doing more business with them as this was my first purchase from them.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe everyday from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. , five days a week.
