Like one reviewer said, it has a pungent and thick orthopedic look. The sole is a bit soley. Very hefty sole on the heel. I feel like I should be eating creamed foods and buffets at 4 pm when wearing this. It's a bit senior citizen looking.As far as fit goes, I'm quite pleased with it. I walk on the outside of my foot and the cushioning really helps. I'm a big guy. Like 280. Let's not kid around. It's not all muscle. But I workout 4-5 days a week. Weights, aerobics, etc. The shoe is a huge improvement for me. Yeah it would be nice if it didn't look like a short bus shoe, but I really have to put function over form. I'd still make the same purchase again. It all depends on your foot type. It's a good shoe, just a bit medical looking.
