I bought the shoes for my grandson because he takes a wide width which is very difficult to find in the department or shoe stores. They either don't carry wide widths or they order only a few and have sold out.

So happy to find kids' shoes in wide width. My son wears an AFO (ankle foot orthosis) and it is so hard to find a shoe that will accommodate his brace. These New Balance shoes are great!

I found the New Balance Children's wide shoe to fit excellently. There was no need to stretch it to make it comfortable. I have a very short foot, high instep,and need a wide toe box. This shoe was perfect for me. .
