I got this shoe for my 4 year old. His foot has finally gone down to a wide from an extra wide so I have more options. Looking online, I did not realize this was a velcro fasten. It is the coolest velcro because it doesn't look like your typical velcro. He loves the shoes and so do I.

With a wide foot, it is hard to find shoes that fit comfortably, but these shoes do the trick. My son is proud of his new shoes and they are holding up well so far. We have found New Balance shoes to be durable in the past.

I ordered this on accident, but we're making it work. The strap is not really long enough for anyone with a thick foot or perhaps a high arch. We're going to have to take it to the cobbler for a fix. New Balance shoes do provide great support, however, so it's worth it to me. Plus, my son wins first place in the running races at his Kindergarten since he got these shoes. He's very happy with them.

I bought these sneakers for my 3 year old son. He has wide feet and the wide width was perfect for him. The best part is that he loved the sneakers as soon as he saw them and he wants to wear them everyday! I love the velco - no laces to worry about. Well worth the money.
