I bought this shoe because it was light weight, had velcro and my son really liked the first pair I purchased for him. Now that he knows how to tie his shoes we will try the same brand with laces! He is still wearing the first exact pair of Saucony (smaller size). I purchased the bigger pair for school and I was afraid that if I waited too long they would not be available for school.

I first found this shoe when I wanted a solid white shoe and my previous brand quit making plain white. Then I was asked what WIDTH I wanted and I was so impressed. I have a wide foot and need to buy the extra wide width which keeps me from buying a shoe 1/2 size too long to get the fit. This is a shoe that really fits great. They are good looking, fun to wear when you get the velcro- no more shoestrings to buy and quicker to put on. That was an accident, too, but I'll always buy the velcro now. I love this shoe. I have an extra new pair under my bed when I begin wearing a new pair. I never want to run out or have them change the availability. Great supportive shoe, not a flat sole like a cheap flip flop.
Wears this shoe: Every day, everywhere and to work, too.
