My 20 year old daughter who is quite petite, can wear boy's sneakers size 6 1/2. These shoes are great. For the purposes of walking around campus, it fits the bill.

My 11 year old son often would complain about foot pain after returning home from school or play. I remeasured his foot and found that he should be wearing a wide width. I purchased a pair of these New Balance last year and he just loved them. This school year we have started out with a new pair in a larger size and he couldn't be happier.
