Bought a pair for my son so he doesn't slide all over the place while playing basketball on the wooden floor. He's a size 5.5 in regular athletic shoes and he fits the same size in this shoe as well. I thought he would need an extra wide but the wide fit him just fine. So far, this is working out for him.

I purchased them because my son plays basketball and I always buy Nike but it seems that most basketball shoes do not have any arch support and my son is flat footed. He always looked so uncomfortable and like his feet hurt. I purchased a pair of regular new balance shoes and my son put all his nike shoes down and only wheres the new balance. So I searched for basketball new balance shoes and these were the ones that I found, not only did they have the arch support but the look was competitive as well....I only where new balance shoes and now my son will....Style is not everything!

Had trouble finding a basketball shoe with wide width for my son. He has tried other New Balance that have worked well. This one was a great fit and he has now broken them in and loves the shoe. They are well built and look nice too. I ordered half size up and it was perfect.
