I purchased this sneaker because my son has a wide foot and his favorite color is red. When I received this product, it is not this shoe at all! it is grey and blue. Fortunately, my son loved them, and we kept them. These sneakers are extremely light and stylish. It is very hard when all your child sees are fancy, colorful, high end sneakers and he cannot wear them because of the width. These are definitely a step closer to that.

Perfect for 6 year old boy who is too busy to tie his shoes. My son loves these shoes and he doesn't have to worry about the laces. Like the two strips of Velcro better than the zig zag elastic/Velcro on the previous new balance shoes.

My 10 y/o son wears wide and New Balance is about the only shoe that accomodates his wide foot. This shoe is comfortable and he likes the look.
