Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
The shoe color was listed as black/white. The photo showed the shoe as black with white lettering on the tongue. The show is actually a very glossy black (patent leather look) with the white leather. Nothing in the description indicated the glossy finish.It is OK but not as I expected it to be.

We both have plantaar fasciitis. And New Balance are the only shoes we can wear that are comfortable for our feet. Plus the all black model he can still wear to work, he is a teacher. We have been wearing New Balance for years. They are also doctor recommended.

I've been frustrated because I loved the 608 new balance style, but due to recent changes in new balance availability the 608's had to be forgotten. So I tried this new shoe the 623 and due to the comments on sizing I ordered a full size larger than I have been wearing for over 30 years.I've been wearing size 13D and found that 13 4E fits much better. One thing I did was go to any shoe store and try on several pairs of new balance. I found that 4E was much more comfortable.
Wears this shoe: at work, I do allot of walking in a large manufacturing environment.

The New Balance BB623 is a good cross-trainer shoe. I drive for UPS, so I need a sturdy and comfortable sneaker. It was a little heavy on the shininess, but a little weather and dust dulled it enough in short order. Good shoe so far, and quite comfy for all my walking around.
