To tell the truth; I had a similar pair that I bought at Walmart that was very comfortable, but they gave out after a year. I wanted a replacement and came across these Nevados. I liked the look, good reviews, and the price was right. I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. I haven't had them long so I can't say for sure, but they look well made. I often wear a 9 1/2 so I was afraid they might be too big, but they are a comfortable fit. I didn't want a cloth sole because I wear them when I go fishing and these Nevados are perfect. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Decent outdoor sandal, but hard to get on... November 24, 2012

I like the look & feel of the sandal overall. However, it is somewhat difficult to get them on, especially if I am wearing socks (I know, I know, that breaks a dozen fashion rules lol); plus it is tight on the sides of my feet and is tight on my toes. But to be fair, I have slightly larger than 13 size & slightly wider than normal width feet. So I imagine for someone with size 13 normal width feet, these would fit perfectly. They seem to be of high quality, and have good traction. I would most likely buy them again.
Wears this shoe: Mostly out of doors when the weather is decent, to the parks for hiking/walking

I live in Texas, and the summers are very hot. So, I spend most of the summer in sandles. I also have problems with back pain, and need sandals with good support, so that I could walk a lot on concrete without having back problems. These are exactly what I had hoped. Great support, comfortable, heavy duty, great gripping traction. I doubt there is anywhere I could go that they wouldn't hold up well, and keep me comfortable. They look good too, and I have gotten several compliments on them.

Sandals from other makers are too tight across the top of my feet. They bind. These sandals are just right. The quality is good, the appearance is good. I am very happy with them.They could be just a little more comfortable--the footbed is grooved. I assume it is to prevent slippage in the shoe. It does that well, but is just a little rough on the bottom of the feet.
Wears this shoe: All day every day in the summer, except for church.
