These arrived today and I'm already excitedly breaking them in. I'm leaving on a camping/hiking trip for spring break next week and needed my first pair of hiking boots - these were cute and the price was right so I bought them. Likes: They seem very well-made and durable; the rubber sole is thick and has great traction, the suede upper is soft, the laces are long and sturdy. The ankle support is excellent and the padding around the ankle is very comfortable. Dislikes: The toe box seems wide and roomy, though the shoe otherwise fits well. I'll be keeping them since my trip is so soon, but I'm going to put some heavy-duty insoles in them in hopes of them fitting better.

I looked high and low before deciding on the Nevado Boomerang and it appears that I have made the correct choice. This is a good quality shoe for a reasonable price. I know that there are other brands that may be superior to the Nevado but they come with a steep price tag. These shoes seem to be constructed of quality material, they are very comfortable and have a great look. I was looking for a low cut hiking shoe that would not break the bank and I am pleased with the Nevados Boomerang.
