Very sturdy, yet comfortable. The colors are exactly like the picture - a nice looking pair of hiking shoes. They look just as good under jeans as they do with my hiking pants and capris. Just a heads up, order a half size up if you're going to wear these with hiking socks or any other thick socks because they are very true to size. Haven't had a chance to use them extensively yet - but am sure they won't fail me on my upcoming hiking trip.

I bought this shoe for a visit to Costa Rica. This shoe kept water and mud out and guarded my feet very well. Overall, I give this shoe 5 stars because it was comfortable, fit well, and protected my feet.

I bought these because I was looking for affordable hiking boots to use on a brief vacation- not a serious hiker. I had to put in extra insoles (very little cushioning or arch support) but once I did, they were very comfortable and I wore them on 3 hikes with no problems. Very satisfied!
