Very sturdy, yet comfortable. The colors are exactly like the picture - a nice looking pair of hiking shoes. They look just as good under jeans as they do with my hiking pants and capris. Just a heads up, order a half size up if you're going to wear these with hiking socks or any other thick socks because they are very true to size. Haven't had a chance to use them extensively yet - but am sure they won't fail me on my upcoming hiking trip.

These arrived today and I'm already excitedly breaking them in. I'm leaving on a camping/hiking trip for spring break next week and needed my first pair of hiking boots - these were cute and the price was right so I bought them. Likes: They seem very well-made and durable; the rubber sole is thick and has great traction, the suede upper is soft, the laces are long and sturdy. The ankle support is excellent and the padding around the ankle is very comfortable. Dislikes: The toe box seems wide and roomy, though the shoe otherwise fits well. I'll be keeping them since my trip is so soon, but I'm going to put some heavy-duty insoles in them in hopes of them fitting better.
Wears this shoe: Hiking, camping, outdoor activities.
